Founded in 1984, National HealthCare Associates (NHCA) has grown into a network of 17 Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation centers located throughout Connecticut and New York. National HealthCare Associates represents more than 3,000 beds in these geographic areas and employs over 4,000 professional caregivers and related staff.

National HealthCare Associates facilities utilize over 250 physicians in specialty areas including gerontology, internal medicine, family practice, psychiatry, pulmonology, orthopedics, rehabilitative medicine, neurology, podiatry and surgery. National HealthCare Associates also employs and contracts Advance Practice Registered Nurses to augment its physician specialists to help direct care provided by over 2600 Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.
